At what point did realize that you wanted to do performance artist for the rest of your life?

I always had the desire to be a performer, but when I was four years old I performed for the family Christmas eve. I knew it was a definite from that exact moment. From then on I danced in my room and interpreted music; Madonna, Prince and Michael Jackson. I continued to perform through my teens and early 20’s for friends and family, then came the main stage.

What is a performance artist? Tell us about the ranges of work you do?

A performance artist is someone who entertains and takes you on a journey.

What is your best performance that you’re proud of so far?

I can’t pick one! Each one is unique.

If you could give a young performance artist advice based on your experiences so far, what would you recommend that he/she should do?

The words I live by:

Dance like no one is watching,

Sing like no one can hear you, or watch you with opinionated eyes.

Live as if you will die tomorrow.

What are your future plans?

Continue entertaining. I plan on doing more videos and live performances. Bringing ASL entertainment to the mainstream television network for the deaf and hearing!
