Hello, everyone! My name is Corinna Hill and I am an intern for the HEARD organization. HEARD is excited to announce that you can be a part of a community Engagement Project (CEP)! This project is sponsored by the DC Consortium of Legal Service Providers, which provides legal services and advocacy for the underserved DC residents. How can the consortium provide the services that best meet the peoples’ needs? By gathering information regarding the experiences of DC residents. The CEP will focus on the obstacles and barriers faced by DC residents. HEARD will support the Consortium’s efforts by collecting information on deaf DC residents and the obstacles and barriers faced by deaf DC residents. HEARD will share that information with the CEP. This is how you can be a part of this! HEARD is looking for participants! To qualify, you need to be 18+, deaf, and a resident of Washington, DC. If you meet these three qualifications and you are interested in being a part of this study, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for watching. If you are interested in learning more about HEARD, please check us out at www.behearddc.org. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!
