Reported by Faribault Daily News:

On Thursday, DeafDigest Sports named the Trojans its Sports Team of the Year in girls basketball, an honor they share this year with Maryland School for the Deaf.
“We are so excited to finally win the national championship,” MSAD coach Sabrina Hubmer said, citing five other championships in 1981, 1982, 1995, 1996 and 2005.
“It feels amazing to finally win it again,” she said. “During our season this year, the team truly became a family.”
MSAD Athletic Director Davey Olson echoed similar sentiments.
“This is a great day for our girls and for this school,” Olson said. “They fought the odds and adversaries. The patience paid off.”
