Deaf people rally for equality in Anchorage

A loosely organized group of deaf and hearing-impaired people hosted a rally on the Park Strip in Anchorage Wednesday as part of the nationwide Deaf Grassroots Movement. Rallies were held in dozens of states on May 4, 2016, to call for access to interpreters, equal educational opportunities and job equality.
