Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess did well on ‘DWTS 2016’ last week, despite some drama during rehearsals. But can they survive the double elimination in Episode 7 of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 22? And what will happen during the team dances on Icons Night?
Episode 7 of Dancing With The Stars Season 22 airs Monday night on ABC! So who will get eliminated after DWTS 2016 Icons Night? And will the men or women come out on top after the team dances?
Last week on DWTS Season 22, the couples recreated famous dance routines. And Wanya Morris topped the leaderboard with 29 points after an incredible performance to “Bye, Bye, Bye.” Paige VanZant was right behind with 28 points following an Austin Powers tribute.
But another early favorite struggled on last week’s Dancing With The Stars 2016. Nyle DiMarco was criticized for his technical flaws and poor posture. He still ended up with 25 judges’ points, but he may have lost some fans after claiming his biggest competition was pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy.
“Like playing a sport as a newbie, you would study Professionals as if they’re ‘to beat’… Only to push yourself,” Nyle explained on Twitter after his controversial DWTS 2016 comment. “This is why I study Val.”
Still, Nyle is not in last place heading into Episode 7 of Dancing With The Stars Season 22. Doug Flutie was actually at the bottom of the Famous Dances Night leaderboard, but he was eliminated at the end of the show.
So now Kim Fields, Von Miller and Ginger Zee are all tied for last with 24 judges’ points. But with just five points separating the top and bottom of the leaderboard, we could be in for a shocking DWTS elimination in Week 7 of Season 22.

So what will happen on Episode 7 of DWTS 2016? For the first time in Season 22, the couples will have to perform twice. Each pair will learn an individual routine and a team dance on Icons Night. The teams will be split up by gender, with the male stars performing to a James Brown medley, and the female stars dancing to Beyoncé.
Other icons being honored during the individual routines include Rolling Stones, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, U2, Jackson 5, Tina Turner, Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin. And at the end of Week 7, two couples will get eliminated from Dancing With The Stars 2016.
