Do you have one of these?
A card that explains you are Deaf.
There’s been a lot of discussion on Facebook
what to do if you get pulled over by police.
How do you explain to the cop you’re Deaf?
Show them this card.
The front says:
I am Deaf.
I need a qualified interpreter to communicate.
The back has communication tips.
Such as: don’t shine a flashlight in my face.
These are at every NorCal office:
HQ, Stockton,
Yuba City, and Redding.
All offices have them.
Just stop by and pick one up for free.
Happy Labor Day!
Enjoy September.
I’m Don Lee with NorCal.
See you next month!
