Etymology | ASL Ponderings (sorta)

This is kind of half an ASL Ponderings and half a small linguistics lesson. Hope you enjoy it!

A tiny error I didn’t notice until after finishing everything: it should be MÆRE, not MAERE. It also should be MȲRE not MYRE. Also fun stuff – it’s mære in Old English, mare in Old Dutch, mara in Old High German, Old Norse, and Old Church Slavic. Wiki if you want to read more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mare_(folklore)
