The Health Care Careers Exploration Program helps deaf and hard of hearing 10th, 11th and 12th graders explore a range of career options in health care fields and learn about important issues in health care. This information can help you select a major when you have chosen a college.
The RIT/NTID Health Care Careers Exploration Program helps deaf and hard of hearing 10th, 11th and 12th graders explore a range of career options in health care—currently one of the fastest growing career areas. Students gain real-life experience as they attend hands-on medical demonstrations in exciting health care fields. The Health Care Careers Exploration Program provides college-bound students with the opportunity to have a hands-on experience in career areas related to a future in health sciences. Students also have fun and make new friendships while developing an understanding of the technical, professional and liberal arts preparation necessary to be successful in that career area.
