RIT researchers are studying whether making produce more accessible and affordable will improve people’s eating choices and health. The study is part of a federally funded pilot program developed by RIT faculty and community partners Foodlink and Wegmans Food Markets to promote a healthy diet with financial incentives that allow Rochester shoppers to stretch their nutrition assistance benefits when they buy fresh vegetables at designated locations.
