Did you receive the emergency alert on your phone or saw it broadcasted on TV? We want your input!
VIDEO DESC & TRANSCRIPT: Zainab Alkebsi is standing in front of a black background. The NAD logo appears on bottom right corner as a watermark.
ZAINAB: On October 3rd, 2018, the Federal Government released a “PRESIDENT ALERT” that was sent to your phones and broadcasted on TV. We’d like to know your experience — did you get the alert? Did you not see the broadcast? We want to know what worked and what didn’t. Please fill out the survey and let us know. We will gather the comments and share it with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) so we can ask for improvements to be made to ensure full access to emergency communications for deaf and hard of hearing people. Thank you.
Video fades to a soft white background with several different font types showing “NAD” very quickly. Copyright video ends with the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) logo centered. Blue text below the logo appears, “The National Association of the Deaf / (copyright) 2018 All Rights Reserved / www.nad.org”; a yellow highlight of the URL appears at the end.
