The 2013 edition of the Deaf Poker Australia (DPA) Championship is to take place at The Star Casino between October 25 and October 27, according to a press release from the organisers.

Now in its fifth year, the 2013 DPA Championship is expected to be the biggest and most popular yet thanks in part to the championship coinciding with the New South Wales Deaf Society Centenary celebrations and the World Federation of the Deaf conference.

The 2013 DPA Championship is to feature three tournaments in total, with the $100 buy-in Main Event taking centre stage. The $85+$15 buy-in tournament is open exclusively to Deaf and Hearing Impaired players, features a 15,000 starting stack and 20-minute levels.

Complementing the Main Event are two side events. The first of these tournaments is a $220 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Teams Event and a $600 High Roller Bounty Event.
