Hello, darlings and darlings! Here I am, the one and only, Fabonnaire Extraordinaire, Mister Dickie Hearts! I was born in NYC, just when my family had just moved to America from South America #surprisebaby #unexpected #astarisborn #omgging
I grew up in a small, quaint town in VA (think #smallville, but a bit more populated) and then went to Gallaudet University in DC (#metropolis). Stayed there a bit longer but then it became like a #bore #drag #yawn for me only because I was nowhere closer to my acting dreams. Plus I stood out like the brightest and biggest daffofil you’d ever seen in the political landscape of DC, not that I didn’t mind 😉 #ilovebeingcenterofattention #beyourself #loveyourself #nofear #yesilovehashtags
Fast-forward to the present, here I am, residing FAB-U-LOUS-LY in the rainbowlicious, man-sprinkled, bombastic wonderland and gayborhood known as West Hollywood AKA WeHo, California! #itsrainingmen #boystown #confettieverywhere #fangirlin #LOVE
Serious Questions:
At what point did realize that you wanted to be an Actor?
Back when I was a very young child, say 3 or 4 years old, who was quite addicted to the television everyday. I basically imitated everything I saw on it, most particularly: Knight Rider, Batman, Superman, and yes, even the Little Mermaid. Cinderella, too. Beauty and the Beast, not so much. God, I wanted to be Ariel. So. Freaking. Bad #itsamermaidworld Oh, Oh, Splash! That was. So. Good. Remember that scene where she was hosed down and transformed back into a mermaid? And in the end, she ended up with Tom Hanks? #wow #speechless #mermaidwannabe #myownprinceplease #tomhanks #omgging
ANYWAY, I just knew I was meant to be a STAR, even as a child #fingersnap #shimmyshimmy #LOL
Tell us about the ranges of work you do?
Well, I’m a model, too, but that’s just for fun and basically my artistic, colorful form of self-expression. I love, love, love doing creative, fashion shoots. I did a 2010-2011 calendar shoot, traveling to different cities for each monthly photo shoot. Yes, it costed money, but hey, #YOLO! I loved it. Now I have a portfolio because of it! I’ve done a bunch of acting as well in several short films. I’ll just name my most accomplished and recent highlights in LA: I was featured in a video directed by YouTube celebrity, Ryan James Yezak, called “I Want To Know What It’s Like,” which has like, over a million hits. See, Ryan is #gay and like me, he’s an activist for #LGBT rights and #equality. So, I MAJOR-HEART being involved in film projects that not only make a compelling story for entertainment purposes, but as well as to speak out and bring attention to issues that is needed #itgetsbetter #love #equality
Earlier this year, I co-starred alongside with wonderful talents Eddie Buck and John McGinty in a TV episode, “Silent Scream” under the show, “I Killed My BFF,” which will air this upcoming July 15th on the Bio Channel! That’s actually my first TV lead role! I’m pretty excited about that! #yayness
I also recently played a leading character, who was a Panda meanie (omgging, me, a MEANIE?! Which was SO MUCH FUN, BTW) in a D-PAN (Deaf Professional Arts Network) music video, directed by the amazing and incredible Jules Dameron (watch out, Steven Speilberg! … No, seriously, watch out). I got to work alongside with a talented, rising starlet, Amber Zion. Marlee darling, watch out as well! And Ryan Lane, whom you guys know is a regular on ABC Family’s Switched At Birth, as Travis. He was so fun to work with, such a very natural actor! I was so HONORED to work with all of them, really! If given the chance to do so again on another project, I gladly would in a heartbeat! Oh, the music video is yet to be released. Which song? I’m not allowed to tell you 😉
I also do stage plays. Last April, I was in a tri-lingual play (Spanish, American Sign Language, and English) called Tamales De Puerco, written by the gorgeous and fabulous Mercedes Floresislas. She’s hearing, but is superbly fluent in ASL because of her Deaf son! I played a recovering alchoholic whose dying, hearing father never knew signs until his last day. I also decidedly played him as a butch gay. I was told I made some audience members cry! #oops #ididitagain
What is your best fashionista that you’re proud of so far?
If you could give a young performance artist advice based on your experiences so far, what would you recommend that he/she should do?
Get yourself out there. Let the world know who you are, honey. And keep going at it #energizerbunny #nonstop That one thing that sets you apart from others, own it! #youareastar
What are your future plans?
Be along the ranks of Zachary Quinto, Jane Lynch, Jonathan Groff, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Neil Patrick Harris, Chris Colfer, Sean Hayes… yes, there is a pattern here 😉
Completely Silly Random Questions:
If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional. with whom would it be?
Marilyn Monroe. I can’t believe she hooked up with the PRESIDENT?! Damn, girl. You just set the bar!
Have you ever had a poem or a song written about you?
No, but I have had an published eBook with the main character, Joss Winters, inspired by me! The eBook is called False Assumptions, by Zach Sweets. My name was in the dedication page! #omgging #fangirlin #noway #yesway I was so, so, SO FLATTERED. And I actually loved the book! There were so many moments I couldn’t stop smiling, only because I saw myself reflected in many of those moments! It’s in the iBookstore and Amazon.com if you want to check it out!
And to Mr. Zach Sweets, my heart of hearts goes out to you, indefinitely! Thank you so, so, so much!
If someone did write a song about me… OMIGOSH… I will FOREVER heart you, too and have died and gone to heaven. #heartyouforever #diedandgonetoheaven #didimentionthatalready
Wait. If not only the song/poem was written about me, but also SIGNED IN ASL?! #ohshit #nowiwouldreallydieandgotoheaven
Well now, a girl can ONLY dream! #dreamer
You have the choice to live with a gorilla who knows sign language or a dog who sings lullabies, which do you choose?
I’m a dog lover, so yeaaaah… #LOL #comeherepuppy #clappinghard #squealing
Name something you do when you’re alone that you wouldn’t do in front of others
Hmmm… walk around nude, but then again that’s not something I wouldn’t do in front of others… So #idk. Wait, maybe do a breakout musical number while in the nude? Nope, that’s not it. This is a tough question.
Have you ever been dared to do something you totally regretted?
Nope. And I’ve done a lot. #gasp #ohmy #scandalicious #stopthepress
Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that
“perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance.
I must say you have done a awesome job with this. Additionally, the blog loads super quick for me on Chrome.
Exceptional Blog!

Good post. I learn something new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon on a daily
basis. It’s always useful to read articles from other authors and use something from
their sites.
