Official statement from Michael Hubbs:

Since I know a lot of people knows that I didn’t make the US Olympic Team for 2014. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough? It seems that there was a lot of assuming or misunderstanding that I made the Olympic Team for Sochi, Russia. Just wanted to clarify that I DID NOT make the Olympic Team for 2014. I WILL try again for 2018 Winter Olympics. Hope this is a lot more clear now. Thank you and I still love you all fans!! ‪#‎teamhubbs‬ ‪#‎BelieveinHubbs‬
