Most people are conditioned to believe there’s something wrong with needing a person to clarify or repeat what they’re saying. It’s different for people with significant hearing differences because we don’t have a choice but to ask for repetition or clarification – and we risk being ridiculed or getting a negative response in return. The fact of the matter is, everyone misunderstands something many times, and we need to do away with making it a hassle to simply ask for clarification.
