He got the top score for the week too.
Nyle blew everyone away with his tango performance this week.
Nyle DiMarco claimed top placing on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars episode, with the three judges giving him and his dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd, a total of 25 out of 30 points.
The awed audience gave a standing ovation too.
This week’s episode carries the theme, ‘Most Memorable Year,’ and Nyle chose 2012, which is the year he traveled around the world without an interpreter.
On the centerstage, the pair rocked a fast-paced tango to the cover of Owl City’s ‘Verge,’ blowing everyone away.
At judging, Carrie Ann Inaba, who had criticised Nyle last week for a lack of musicality, said: ‘You were with the music tonight… Nyle, I love Superman, but you’re like better than Superman.’
Judge Bruno Tonioli was so hyped up by the performance that he was on his feet when he gave his comments: ‘You should be a ride at Six Flags, I tell you. You’d be packed all the time.’
And lastly, Len Goodman finished off with his praise for Nyle: ‘You’re proof that anyone could do anything if they wanted to.’
