I teach because it has been so exciting to see the language development of young children with hearing loss; whether they are signers or use spoken language. I has been so exciting to see families work with their children in order to give their children language they need to participate in regular curriculum when they start kindergarten which sets them up for academic success and success in your environment and social success throughout their academic years and also as adults.
