The Federal Communications Commission today announced a $9.1 million settlement with two companies which provide telecommunications services to consumers with hearing and speech disabilities



In a surprising press release yesterday, the FCC announced a $9.1 million settlement with Purple Communication and CSDVRS in which both companies will pay back the TRS Fund for their improper billing and set a 5 year compliance plan to ensure that their services are still provided. This comes as an interesting twist since yesterday, ZVRS announced that they would be acquiring Purple Communications.
