A team of students from RIT has won the first-ever New York State Game Dev Challenge. The group developed a virtual-reality martial arts game called ‘The Kingdom of the Tao.’ The team received $12,000 as winners in the student category. The first-place team in the independent developers category, ‘Genesis Noir,’ included two RIT alumni.
