Transcript: Hello, my name is Chris Ludvigsen, and I am the Community Support Liaison for the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I would like to announce the dates for next year’s legislative day for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind. The date will be February 21, 2018. The location will be the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City. We would like for you to join MCDHH in supporting different issues and meeting your legislators to discuss different issues with them. Those issues may include: language assessment, hearing aid financial assistance, and closed captioning during movies. We would like for community leaders to have informational booths, for you to meet your representatives, and a full schedule will be provided soon. If you’re interested in volunteering as an interpreter or helping with the Legislative Day in general, please contact us at the email above [mcdhh@mcdhh.mo.gov]. We hope to see you there.
