The Minnesota Commission of the Deaf, DeafBlind & Hard of Hearing (MNCDHH) hosted a fun, interactive evening about voter information on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Representatives from confirmed organizations presented on why voting is important. There was representation from the diverse racial, ethnic, gender, and generational communities we serve. MNCDHH’s Voting Outreach Team and board members participated in a panel to share Voting Info 101. In addition, Alicia Lane-Outlaw from the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and John Fechter from the Minnesota Association of Deaf Citizens (MADC) explained how they research political candidates.
