For those who live in Sonoma County, especially near the Russian River, a mandatory evacuation has been reported. Please communicate with other Deaf* residents in that area that they will need to pack their valuables, meds, animals, etc and consider staying at their family or friends place temporarily. As of today, Wednesday, February 27th, the Russian River is still rising. If you come across a water stream on the road, please do not drive through and turn around. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our DCARA advocate, Amber Tansey: Amber.tansey@dcara.org | 707 204 0560. #evacuation #russianriver #emergency
