We recently visited the Philippines in January 2019 with plans to visit the Island of Bohol to visit Deaf schools. Due to unforeseen circumstances we unfortunately had to change our plans, however the schools and the children have remained close to our hearts. We have since reached out to IDEA: International Deaf Education Association, and asked how we can be of the most help. The educators informed us that the schools servicing the Deaf children are over capacity and do not have sufficient funds to adequately support the students. Therefore, additional funds are needed to sponsor the Deaf children in these educational settings. Zach and I are considering sponsoring some of the children, however, we thought that a fundraiser would be far more impacting and helpful.
With that in mind, we set a GoFundMe page in order to fundraise for these students. We want to thank you in advance for you support as we raise as much financial support as possible to support the Deaf students’ educational pursuits.
