Many of us may have grown up reading books like “Cinderella” or “The Cat in The Hat”, but did you ever realize that these books may be sending us hidden racist and sexist messages, to name a few?

Victorica Monroe of Transformative Deaf Education shares why it’s important to carefully choose quality children’s books and gives us some tips on how to make sure they give our children a positive sense of identity.
