CHRIS: Hello, my name is Chris Johnson, and I am the Deaf Community Advocate for the Missouri Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I wanted to take the opportunity to elaborate on the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Legislative Day.

This event will include remarks from legislators and community leaders, informational booths, and meetings with your representatives. A confirmed schedule will be announced before the event. MCDHH is currently looking for volunteer interpreters, organizations, and service providers to help coordinate this event. CHRIS: The 2020 Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing Legislative Day will be occurring at the Missouri State Capitol on March 2, 2020, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Come join us in showing your support for these various issues and see the impact they have on our community. These issues include language assessment, hearing aid insurance coverage, service animals, deaf awareness month, and a variety of others. The event will include legislator remarks, community leader remarks, informational booths, and the opportunity to meet with a variety of legislators form across the state. MCDHH is currently looking for volunteer interpreters, organizations, and service providers. Please come out and support our event.
