Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

This is one of the series where a local Deaf person explains what their Deaf community had or have been going through! This time, it’s my motherland, México! México has a rich diversity of people, cultures, and languages! It’s not just my goal to meet the Deaf community in each country, but it is something that I only want to naturally develop a connection with Deaf people around the world, from all different walks of life.

A big thank you to Ernesto, a Deaf Mexican activist, and the local Deaf community!!

Notes for viewers:

*There are Closed Captions available. Click setting which is on the bottom left of the video. Also, I am not confident in my written Spanish skills yet to create Spanish Closed Captions. If you know International Sign and can translate to Spanish, please do!

*Note that Ernesto is signing in International Sign – NOT in American Sign Language (ASL) or LSM (Lengua de Señas Mexicana). This is to reach a worldwide Deaf audience due to a variety of sign languages.*
