TRANSCRIPT AND IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
0:00 – ID | Ian, a Latinx male, wearing a black t-shirt and dark-rimmed glasses. He is standing in a living room with a sage-colored wall throughout the video. A black overlay appears on the right of the video screen with white text: “Did you know? You can multitask during a call” with the green Convo logo on the bottom. The overlay disappears then Ian starts signing.
0:02 | You know the standard when connecting to VRS, typically the window pops up with the interpreter on it, taking up the entire computer screen.
You wait to connect, then start your conversation but sometimes things come up whether information to fill out, or you forgot the number to call.
Typically you’re stuck on that screen, and will have to hide the window, and open another one, swapping back and forth, causing you to miss what the interpreter signed.
At Convo, we have a solution! With our cool multi-task feature. When you make your VRS call, you’ll connect with an interpreter, and start your call.
When you need information, you can click any window, it will minimize automatically, staying with you while you look up information/numbers keeping you and the interpreter visible through the entire call!
Sometimes you have to wait on hold, now you can minimize the window and the interpreter will be there allowing you to do work, or browse while on hold. Once you’re connected you can click to adjust the screen size and continue your call.
0:55 – ID | A screen showing the Convo app in a call on a Mac with webpages on a computer screen. The feature of minimizing and adjusting the screen appears and the VI screen does not disappear behind your other work on the computer. The video of Ian returns and he signs.
1:09 | You’ll never have to worry about swapping back and forth between windows again. You just minimize, and the interpreter is in view the entire call.
1:24 – ID | The video returns to the computer screen with a web page and the VI screen as it shows it is adjusted in size. It returns to Ian signing.
1:31 | You also can click the corner to adjust VI’s screen size. You can adjust to have it fit your preference. How you set your preferred size will remain the same until you change it. You can also click and drag it to wherever you want to position the VI window on your screen, it’s up to you!
1:36 – ID | The video switches to computer screen to show VI screen being moved around all four corners.
1:41 | Sometimes it’s nice to have it full screen. If you want to do that, you can double click the window twice and it’ll pop back to full screen. Have your call, then click again to exit full screen.
1:51 – ID | The video switches to the computer screen to show VI screen being adjusted to a full screen view. It returns to Ian signing.
