Hello! Have you noticed how smoky it is outside?
That smoke came from the SCU Lightning Fire
Where is this fire?
You know the area around I-580 West that you use to get to the bay area?
In between Tracy, Newsom, and Patterson
That area consists of 2 counties, San Joaquin and Stanislaus which NorCal serves.
Around this area we are in the “Evacuation Warning” phase.
This means you should pack your most important things.
Such as: important documents, your social security card, clothes, medicine, glasses.
Click the link in the description for more info on how you can prepare.
One other thing!
How can you check if your home is impacted by fire?
Click the other link and enter your text number and zip-code.
Cal Fire will send you text notifications specifically for your area.

and look for updates from NorCal.
If your area is no longer safe and evacuation becomes mandatory,
Firefighters and sheriffs will go though town to make sure everyone evacuates safely.
If you have trouble breathing because of the smoke
please make plans to leave and stay with friends or family.
Or if transportation is an issue for you
Make plans to leave now before evacuation becomes mandatory.
Please don’t forget to wear a mask outside
because COVID19 is still on-going.
Plus the smoke.
Stay inside and if you need to leave wear a mask.
Please stay safe and healthy.
ILY, Bye!
