News Flash: 2020 Filing of Taxes Deadline Postponed

On March 17th, 2021, the Department of Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced that the federal income tax filing due date for individuals for the 2020 tax year will be automatically extended from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021. No penalties or interest will be applied.
If after May 17, 2021, you have not yet filed your taxes. You will get penalized or have interest applied to your tax return.
The IRS strongly encourages you to file your tax return as soon as possible.
If you need assistance, please contact your tax advisor for further assistance as DCARA is not an expert in tax filing.
