The Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded to those who have done distinctive work for and with deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing Minnesotans that spans 20+ years of contributions.

Emory: A Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Lori Peters. Lori Peters has worked for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services for 35 years. Lori has touched the lives of so many by being a supportive and encouraging person, who genuinely cares. Lori takes time and thinks through each option to determine the best technology for each individual. By providing the appropriate resources and technology, she has provided communication access to many people and in doing so, she has changed lives.
