Emory: Our Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Sally Prouty. She was selected because of her dedication to the DeafBlind community where she sends out daily news to the DeafBlind listserv. That is a website chat room where the DeafBlind can talk to one another. She summarizes the news in an unbiased way to help DeafBlind understand the daily news and events that impact their lives. It has been wonderful especially during the COVID pandemic.
