If you plan to leave the U.S., make sure to get Convo Passport before you leave to keep your communication access open.

What’s a Convo Passport? It’s an electronic pass that lets you make or get VRS and point-to-point calls between the country you’re traveling in and the U.S. The FCC requires this to be set up before you leave the U.S.

If you already have a Convo number, getting a Convo Passport is easy. Let me show you how.

Go ahead and type convorelay.com in a browser. After the page loads, click on “MY PROFILE” in the upper-right corner. On the next screen, type in your Convo number and password. In your profile, you’ll see three tabs. Click on “Passport”. Next, list all of your travel destinations, including layovers and transfers. Then mark down the arrival and departure dates of your travel plans. After you’re done, click to submit your information.

As a reminder, the FCC requires that you fill out the form before you travel, and you must complete the process in the United States. FYI: You can use Convo Passport for up to 28 days.

Enjoy your trip! Stay safe. Don’t have Convo yet? Sign up at convorelay.com/signup.]
