Hello. we have an important announcement from Pfizer to share.
Pfizer vaccine boosters are now available for select groups.
Who is eligible in LA County?
Those who received a second Pfizer shot over 6 months ago, and:
are over age 65,
long-term care facility residents,
are under age 65 with other medical conditions,
or are under age 65 and a high-risk worker, like: healthcare workers, first responders, teachers and day care staff, grocery store workers, and workers in homeless shelters or prisons.
Make your appontment online at a pharmacy or clinic that offers Pfizer
vaccinations near you. When you arrive at your appointment, you need to bring proof you’ve already received 2 Pfizer doses. You can bring your white vaccination card, or a picture of the white card, or a digital record.
The pharmacy or clinic might ask you to sign a form agreeing that you qualify for the booster.
People who got Moderna or Johnson & Johnson (J & J) vaccines are awaiting FDA approval. For those vaccines, we will announce when the CDC and California Department of Public Health have more information
to share with you.
