Check out the teaching, research, and instrumentation labs with RIT’s School of Chemistry and Materials Science. Undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry students get hands-on experience with research equipment like the rotary evaporators, gas line manifolds, and glove box in RIT’s Advanced Synthesis Lab. Students also get trained on advanced instruments including the gas chromatography mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
