It’s been nearly a full year since I’ve gotten my first pair of hearing aids. When I first had them in and left the audiologist’s office, it was definitely a brand new and slightly terrifying experience hearing all these new sounds either for the first time ever, or for the first time in a long time.

Here’s a few things that really frightened me.
