Read Time:40 Second
A year ago, @AMC Theatres said they would be having regular open caption screenings at 240~ locations. This was life changing for deaf movie lovers.
During the first few months since the announcement, I went to many more movie showings in that time than I did in so many years. Now as of late, it’s become extremely difficult to have even ONE screening and this has been the case for me in multiple cities.
Now instead of driving 10 minutes, I have to drive an hour or more to watch a movie. Now they seem to be going back to the days that open caption screenings were on one random Tuesday at 1pm.
What gives?
And has anyone else been experiencing the same?
