I wish I could say it isn’t as common as it is. Oftentimes, you will find video content about deaf people, characters, etc. that isn’t even accessible to deaf viewers themselves.⁣

I saw this clip on Twitter this morning talking about Sam in The Last Of Us being deaf in the show and noticed there weren’t captions on it. A silly mistake on someone’s part.⁣

I’ve come across full documentaries on YouTube about deafness and deaf people that don’t even come with captions. It’s so strange to me.⁣
